This part is a must have, after you put it on you'll wonder why it wasn't standard, the stock part is a pretty sorry excuse in terms of style(looks like part of an old broom) and function(things fall in, i.e. coins, french fries, etc). This part is a huge upgrade, but you must have your E-brake properly adjusted or it will not fit, very easy to put on took 3 minutes.

I added this product and immediately had comments on it. It blends so nicely even "Saab" people didn't notice right off; they just asked me what I had done to the interior. This boot has held up in my convertible just as well as the shift boot; so the leather is definitely quality; and the match is wonderful. My only complaint is that it is a little tight. if your E-Brake is even slightly worn or out of adjustment, it will no longer hold because this boot stops your E-Brake lever from liftin...

Excellent product, and easy installation. Complements my 9-3's interior so well, it looks like it came from the factory (it should have). Great instructions as well (if you end up needing them). You can get away with not using the supplied screw if you don't want to poke a hole on your console; just make sure that your e-brake is properly adjusted and does not need more than 4 clicks to fully engage and you'll be fine.

I rate it "Excellent" - one level below top - only because of the aforementioned "screw" that is somewhat of an eyesore. Like other reviewers have already mentioned, make sure your e-brake is adjusted tight (how it should be). After a treatment with leather conditioner, it matches the shift boot well, and you wouldn't know it was an aftermarket item (kind of sad, as I'd like to flaunt it). Good quality product, easy to install, worth buying or gifting. No more lost change in the "hairy" chasm...

Sweet piece, and easy to install. My "previously owned" 2003 convertible had an ugly brake setup, with just about all the "hair" trim missing around the base. Ten minutes later, it's totally trimmed out!
