The spoiler arrived in a cotton sleeve, in a protective plastic bag inside a rigid box with enough padding to survive most known disasters. The finish and paint were impeccable. I was a little concerned with the double back tape attachment method but after installation I was glad the spoiler did not require aligning aand drilling four holes in my trunk deck. The tape is more than adequate to secure the spoiler
